Public Projects

The Project includes, but is not limited to, performing the following Work: Furnishing all labor, tools, equipment, materials, except as herein specified; and doing all work associated with renovation of existing office space into new day center and night shelter for displaced community members, consisting of interior renovation of existing space including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing infrastructure, new fire sprinkler and alarm system, replacement of existing sewer lateral, modification of the existing parking and site area, replacement of the existing roof system, and related finishes and

The Project includes, but is not limited to, performing the following Work: Furnishing all labor, tools, equipment, materials, except as herein specified; and doing all work associated with the removal and replacement of site light fixtures including lights, poles, and foundations. Project includes new power service and underground distribution.

The Project includes, but is not limited to, performing the following Work: Furnishing all labor, tools, equipment, materials, except as herein specified; and doing all work associated with the First Floor Security of the Building at 700 West Essex Drive ("Building 17”). See Technical Specs for Scope of Work requirements.

The Project includes, but is not limited to, performing the following Work: Furnishing all labor, tools, equipment, materials, except as herein specified; and doing all work associated with the construction and site improvements for Estuary Park Phase 2, the eastern 3.8- acre public park phase of the larger 7.63-acre Estuary Park. (Estuary Park was planned in two almost equally sized phases, Phase 1 being the western four-acre athletic fields-oriented portion of the park completed in 2018.) Planned as an inclusive community park space, the work for Estuary Park Phase 2 includes, but is not limited to: an inclusive children’s playground complete with play equipment, picnic areas with a shade structure and barbecue grills, a prefabricated 6-unit all-gender concrete restroom building*, asphalt paved full court basketball court and Bankshot courts, fenced-in pickleball courts, concrete pathways, open lawn area, large- and small- fenced in dog park areas, planted and mulched landscaped areas, complete with stormwater treatment areas, park and pathway lighting, barrier fences as appropriate, a paved parking area with infrastructure to support future electric vehicle charging stations, a central trash enclosure, drinking fountains, trash, organics, and recycling bins, and bike racks.

The Project includes, but is not limited to, performing the following Work: Furnishing all labor, tools, equipment, materials, except as herein specified; and doing all work associated with the Safe Routes to School Project.

The Project includes, but is not limited to, performing the following Work: 1. Furnishing all labor, tools, equipment, materials, except as herein specified; and doing all work associated with the closure and abandonment of one (1) 6,000 gallon gasoline singlewalled UST and two (2) 1,000 gallon diesel single-walled USTs and the procurement and installation of one (1) new double-walled gas/ diesel Aboveground Fuel Storage Tank (AST). The new AST will be located inside the covered vehicle wash bay at the City of Alameda Maintenance Service Center, located at 1616 Fortmann Way, Alameda, CA 94501. Associated work includes the installation of new double-walled fuel piping, two (2) new gas and diesel dual-hose fuel dispensers, new tank level monitor, new AST-mounted fill bucket, new steel bollards, new ceiling-mounted light fixtures, and concrete pad/ site work. Other work includes the demolition and removal of existing single-walled fuel piping, vehicle wash equipment, three (3) fuel dispensers, UST fill buckets and covers, and all wall- and ceiling-mounted light fixtures inside the fuel island/ vehicle wash building.

The Project includes, but is not limited to, performing the following Work: Furnishing all labor, tools, equipment, materials, except as herein specified; and doing all work associated with the work to be performed under these specifications. The work to be performed includes, but is not limited to: mobilizing/demobilizing, traffic and pedestrian control, water pollution control, temporary construction staging, construction staking, removal of concrete, asphalt concrete pavement, and base, pavement markings, drainage facilities, fencing, railroad platforms, contaminated material, and railroad track and ties; clearing and grubbing, roadway excavation, adjusting utility covers to grade, concrete improvements including sidewalks, driveways, curb and gutters, and curb ramps; aggregate base, asphalt improvements; installing culverts, storm drains, bioswales, storm drains, sanitary sewers, thermoplastic striping and markings, signs, mulch, landscape planting, trees, irrigation, privacy fence, decomposed granite, park furnishing, traffic signal modification, lighting, and communication system.

The Project includes, but is not limited to, performing the following Work: Furnishing all labor, tools, equipment, materials, except as herein specified; and doing all work associated with hot mix asphalt inlays, cold milling asphalt pavement, base repair, crack seal, slurry seal, rubberized chip seal, microsurfacing, drainage improvements, curb ramps, and pavement striping.

The Project SCOPE OF WORK includes, but is not limited to, performing the following Work as part of the LUMP SUM BASE BID PROPOSAL (see Section 5-1 for reference): Furnishing all labor, tools, equipment, materials, except as herein specified; and doing all work associated with the renovation and upgrades to improve the safety, security and aesthetics of the parking facility as contained in the Construction Documents.

The Project includes, but is not limited to, performing the following Work: Furnishing all labor, tools, equipment, materials, except as herein specified; and doing all work associated with Alameda Neighborhood Greenways Pacific Avenue – Oak Street to Lafayette Street.
